Kyoung Ho Ryu is a urologist and lead director of the Gangnam branch of Goldman Urology Clinic, working in benign prostatic hyperplasia, urogenital infection and urological ultrasound. Qualified in medicine at Catholic Kwandong University and practised in the department of urology at Seoul Veterans Hospital. Was an author of a ten-year review of urine culture and antimicrobial sensitivity by voiding method in patients with spinal cord injury, in the Korean Journal of Urology, and of a study of human papillomavirus type distribution in genital warts of Korean men. Speaks regularly on aquablation of the prostate: on the operating-theatre setting and technique at the Korean urologists autumn meeting in 2023, at the Korean Prostate Society BPH Technical Summit in 2025, and at the Korean Society of Endourology and Robotics open symposium in November 2025, where the subject was aquablation as a surgical approach that maintains treatment effect while preserving ejaculatory function.
