Holmium Laser Enucleation of the Prostate (HoLEP) is one of the most effective surgical treatments for BPH, using a holmium laser to completely remove enlarged prostate tissue. It offers low bleeding risk, rapid recovery, applicability regardless of prostate size, and a low long-term recurrence rate — increasingly the gold standard for moderate-to-severe BPH.

Goldman Urology has performed over 5,300 cumulative prostate surgeries. Dr. Lee Chang-ki of Goldman Urology Incheon explained: 'The results between my first 100 cases and my most recent 100 are completely different — operating time has dropped significantly, tissue resection precision has improved, and patient hospitalization time has shortened.'

A study in the World Journal of Urology confirmed this: a single surgeon's average operating time fell from 67 minutes in the first 100 cases to 43 minutes in the last 100 of a 500-case series. Complication rates also declined with experience. Dr. Lee emphasized: 'The technology matters, but what truly determines surgical success is the surgeon's cumulative experience and clinical judgment.'
