I'm a 25-year-old male. After taking prescribed pills and syrup for a cold, I noticed my urine has turned a very dark yellow. I've been drinking plenty of water, but the color remains intense. Is there a problem?

This is a very common side effect of certain medications, particularly those containing Vitamin B (Riboflavin) or specific dyes used in syrups. As these components are metabolized and excreted through the kidneys, they can intensely color the urine. It is generally harmless and should return to normal once the medication is stopped.
