Diagnosis and Treatment Options for Anal Condyloma (Genital Warts)

I'm a man in my early 30s. Recently, I've noticed small, cauliflower-like bumps around my anus. They aren't particularly painful, but they are itchy and seem to be increasing in number. Could this be anal condyloma? How can I distinguish or differentiate this from skin tags or simple irritations? Does my partner also need to be tested?

Condyloma (genital warts) is caused by the Human Papillomavirus (HPV) and is highly contagious. The cauliflower-like shape is a classic diagnostic feature. Unlike skin tags, condyloma tends to vary in shape and can spread rapidly if untreated. Because it is easily transmitted through skin contact, your partner should absolutely be evaluated. Treatment options include laser therapy, electrocautery, or cryotherapy, and we focus on both removing the visible lesion and managing the underlying viral activity to prevent recurrence.
