Do I need circumcision if my glans is fully exposed during erection?

If your glans is fully exposed during erection, circumcision is generally not medically necessary.

As long as there is no pain, no difficulty with urination, and no discomfort in daily life, you can maintain your current condition without undergoing surgery.

However, with a natural foreskin, smegma or debris can accumulate, which may lead to odor or inflammation if proper hygiene is not maintained. If you are able to manage hygiene well and do not experience recurrent inflammation, circumcision is not required.

On the other hand, if the foreskin becomes tight, causing pain during erection, or if there is significant buildup leading to itching or irritation, it would be advisable to visit a urology clinic for evaluation and possible treatment.
